Thursday 6 August [Kyoto, Gion, Yakasuka Shrine]
Woke up pretty late. Reason? HMT set the morning alarm on vibrate only mode. Which means nobody heared it. -___-"
But still you got to eat breakfast. Milk Tea, with white sanwhich with egg. And a bread with curry in it.

Midday lunch in evening would look like this. Onigiri with green otcha.
So we went to Gion, the Geisha place. But it was dark, we were tired, so we didn't paid attention as to how to go there 'exactly'. So we went out in Kyoto Station and actually tried to walk there. (In hindsight it proved there was actually a much more easier way: taking the other subwayline, which we will found out later). So we walked through the, what seems to be deserted, streets of the surrounding 'villages' around Kyoto. Trying to get to Gion, the Geisha place.
Then we saw, obviously, vendingmachines. But I took the photo because of 'Suntory'. As we all know by the film 'Lost In Translation' by Sofia Coppola, with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johannson, about the alienation in Japan (and in life). Anyway if you've seen that film, then yeah you'll know what I mean.
Kyoto streets by the night. If I think of Japan, this would be one of the trademark images that would come in my head.
